Jake McGuire is known for his striking photos of Washington, D.C. Over the last 20 years he has taken thousands of pictures of Washington, creating one of the largest collections of photographs of our Nation’s Capital.
McGuire’s photos decorate the office of law firms, associations and corporate government relations offices. They also appear in private collections, exhibitions, and are often found in airline and travel magazines.
In January of 2001 and January of 2005 the Presidential Inaugural Committee selected McGuire’s photos for use in the official inaugural programs and guidebooks. McGuire’s coffee table book, “Washington, D.C. a Photographic Portrait” has been a best-seller and was recently released in it’s fourth printing and is available in major bookstores.
In August of 2010, McGuire was featured in the Washington Post’s Style section in a flattering 160 column-inch profile on his courtly style of doing business with members of Congress, lobbyists, and government relations firms in our Nation’s Capital.
McGuire expanded his niche in the political world by launching ThePACStore.com to provide Political Action Committees with elegant pictures of the US Capitol as gifts to reward PAC donors. He quickly picked up top PAC’s including Anheuser Busch, Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, Oracle, Raytheon, Bechtel, Johnson & Johnson and other fortune 100 companies. For more see: www.thepacstore.com
